Working Dynamics Principal

Before establishing Working Dynamics in 2003, Susan Gunn worked as a university administrator, workplace mediator, instructor, and conflict management consultant. Today, Working Dynamics provides a full range of assessment, development programs, and conflict management solutions for organizations in health care, business, and government.

As Working Dynamics president and lead consultant, Susan specializes in assessment, team consulting, leader development, and conflict management. Susan is a Certified Mediator with the Virginia Supreme Court since 1993 and specializes in workplace conflict. She is certified in the Conflict Dynamics Profile (CDP) and the Cultural Transformation Model and Tools (CTT). Susan is a CDP master trainer and currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Center for Conflict Dynamics at Eckerd College.

Knowledgeable in group dynamics, leadership, and conflict management, Susan holds a Master’s degree in Adult Education, a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, and a Certificate in Workplace Mediation and Conflict Resolution. Susan has served in leadership roles within her profession throughout her career and is active in her community as well. She is president and board chair of a nonprofit mentoring program for at-risk youth she co-founded in 2006, is a graduate of Leadership Metro Richmond (LMR), was named LMR’s Servant Leader of the Year in 2007, and was named the NAWBO/Verizon Community Leader of the Year 2011.

Working Dynamics Associate

Jada Banks, an associate with Working Dynamics, is an experienced professional trainer and speaker who consistently connects with audiences ranging in size from three to several hundred. Jada's training style is professional, interactive, and fun. Over the past 20 years, Jada has taught hundreds of workshops on a variety of topics and facilitated planning sessions for a variety of professional groups. She currently focuses her training on effective communication skills, customer service, and leadership development.

As an associate of Working Dynamics, Jada leads workshops on communication, effective leadership, team dynamics, and emotional intelligence. She is certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the Conflict Dynamics Profile (CDP).

As an adjunct instructor at the University of Richmond, Jada teaches Career and Life Development, Leading Skills for Individuals, and Training Design and Facilitation. She has also offered numerous workshops through the Community College Workforce Alliance. Jada holds an M.Ed. in Adult Education with a concentration in human resources and management development from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her undergraduate degree in English and Journalism was earned at the University of Richmond.
